How to open a business account online?

To accept payments in your store, online or offline, with Silkpay, you can create a business account online. All you need to do is fill out the onboarding form.  You will be asked for:

1- General information

Such as your company’s registration name, address.

2- The payment methods you would like to integrate

3- Legal representative information

4- UBOs information

What does UBO mean? 

A beneficial owner (UBO) is: Any person owning, directly or indirectly, more than 25% of the capital or voting rights, or, failing this, the person exercising control over the management.

5- Bank account information

To ensure the secure and efficient processing of funds received from your clients, we kindly request that you provide your bank account details. This information is essential for facilitating the timely transfer of your earnings. Please be assured that the security and confidentiality of your financial data is our top priority.

6- Upload documents

You will be required to upload the following documents.

- Your company’s registration certificate

- The articles of association (signed and sealed)

- Identification documents and proofs of address (administrative invoice for example) dating from less than three months of legal representative and shareholders (holding > 10% of capital or voting right)

- The company’s bank account 

- Photos of your office/shop/storage showing your company name and logo

7- Preview, edit if necessary and send the form

If you apply online, your application will be processed quickly and efficiently. Once your documents are validated, our team will reach out to you for signing the contract and activating your account.
